So this post is probably one of the posts that has been round since the day blogging began but I thought you guys might still be interested! This is a little round up of what I do just before bed to give my skin a little break! Also be sure to let me know if you have any tips to improve your skin in the comments below.
First things first I make sure all my make-up is off by using cleansing wipes all over my face and neck. I usually make sure to use two wipes just to make sure as much make up is off as physically possible. I love these ones from Sainsburys they're super cheap and great for sensitive skin like mine!
Next I like to exfoliate and clean my skin with a daily face wash. I've used Clean&Clear since I was about 15 so I know that it doesn't dry out my skin or break me out. I love the fact that you can actually feel it exfoliating your skin and I also love that it doesn't dry the skin out like other daily washes I have used before. I'd definitely recommend this as its great for controlling breakouts!
I tend to only do this stage twice a week but I thought it should be included anyway. I love using a MUD mask on my face and I picked this one up for only £1 in my local pharmacy. MUD masks are great for getting rid of those stubborn blackheads and impurities, I've also noticed its great at giving your skin a bit more colour and radiance!
Then I like to moisturise (as does everyone right?). I love Nivea for pretty much everything but this Night Cream truly is a life saver! Over night it makes you skin feel like new and I especially love the fact that it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or sticky like some other night creams tend to.
Finally I give my lips a little TLC with a lip scrub and some lip cream. Yes this Lush scrub is from Christmas but surely that shows how long lasting it is?! It makes all of the dead skin disappear and makes you lips feel super moisturised. I then like to use Carmex or a deeper lip cream to give my lips a little break, plus this one tastes like strawberries!
