How To : Do the Hoola!

I recently showed you guys this purchase on my What I bought on Holiday post and I thought it would be great to show you how to use the pieces in the kit and the tips and tricks that are given in the pack! The kit includes: Dew the Hoola Liquid Bronzer, They're Real! Mascara (mini), Hoola Powder (mini) and brush, Bene-balm Lip Tint, Hoola Lip Gloss.

Step One: Dew the Hoola

Firstly I applied the liquid bronzer that is included in the kit. I'm rather new to the idea of liquid bronzer so I wasn't really sure how to use this, I firstly pumped out a small amount and dabbed this to my contour areas before blending it into the skin with a beauty sponge. This bronzer is great for a natural contour as it is very warming and subtle. One of the tips included is to add the serum to your foundation for an all over glow! I love this as a base as it helps to warm up the face however I do like a darker contour in order to help carve out my cheekbones more.

Step Two: Hoola Powder

This powder is a well love product of the Benefit range for me. I've tried it previously and knew that it was the perfect shade for my skin and super matte. I love the fact that you get so much colour pay off from the smallest dab of colour! I applied this using my angled Spectrum Collections brush (which I use everyday for contour). It glides on perfectly and has no patchiness that you sometimes find with contour powders. This can also be swept across the nose to create a sun-kissed look too! I went on to define the crease of my eye-socket with this product as I always find that helps to make my eyes look a little more alive and warm.

Step Three: They're Real! Mascara

My eyelashes are the biggest pet hate of my eyes. They are dead straight and hold no curl whatsoever so I love playing with mascaras and seeing if any can help! I curled my eyelashes before hand (sorry chopped off eyelashes - long story) which helps to hold a curl however I did find this mascara rather wet. It did help to lengthen my lashes and did appear to be holding the curl also which, considering the formula, is something I wasn't expecting.

Step Four: Bene-Balm Tint and Hoola Lip Gloss

The Bene-Balm Tint scared me a little it was bright red in the tube and seemed very pigmented but it honestly adds a lovely flush of colour to the lips. This makes them seem plumper and moist and also hydrates the lips really well! I added this directly from the tube and it glided on really well with no pieces falling off. I then applied the Lip Gloss included in the kit over the top to finish the lips. In the tube this appears a lovely glittery nude but I'm afraid that it just doesn't come out that way! I may try again without the tint before and see if it changes the effect.

I'm really happy with this in-flight purchase and would really recommend this kit to anyone who is flying with EasyJet this summer. I finished the look by adding some eye-liner as I simply cannot live without it! Other than that I'm sure I'll be using every product in this kit to help keep my summer glow for that little bit longer!
